This type of drifting compettion is highly affordable because it limits modifications, typically requiring participants to use stock or nearly stock chassis, electronics, and suspension components, such as non-adjustable arms. This keeps initial investment low and prevents an "arms race" where competitors constantly seek performance advantages through costly aftermarket parts. the simplicity of a spec class makes it incredibly easy for newcomers to get involved; with fewer variables to tune, drivers can focus on mastering the fundamental techniques of drifting like throttle control, steering input, and weight transfer, rather than getting bogged down in complex chassis adjustments. This focus on driver ability, coupled with the minimal financial barrier, fosters a welcoming and competitive environment perfect for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

Spec Class Drifting Allowed Chassis

  • Kyosho Fazer FZd2

    Stock Form, Any Body: Bring your favorite look! Any body can be used, but the chassis itself is all about minimal mods.

    Fixed Arms Only: We're keeping it simple and focusing on pure driving. You must use non-adjustable (fixed) arms.

    Gear Diff: Dial in your setup! Spool or Gear Differential is allowed but Ball Diffs are not.

    Servo Horn: Aluminium servo horns are permitted.

    Electronics: If you're running the Kyosho Fazer FZD2 chassis, stock electronics are welcome, but there are also electronic upgrade options available for those looking to fine-tune their power.

    Radio Recommendation: While your stock radio can get you on the track, we highly recommend upgrading your radio for improved control and precision.
